- Is the chalet pleasant in summer?
- Yes, very much so. At 1,600 m altitude, temperatures stay pleasant even during a heatwave on the French Riviera — it's the ideal refuge when the coast is stifling. There are plenty of summer activities: hiking in the Mercantour National Park, mountain biking from the chalet, swimming in mountain lakes, wildlife watching. The south-facing terraces with panoramic views are perfect for summer evenings.
- What is the cancellation policy?
- Free cancellation for 24 h after booking. Beyond that, the refund decreases with the cancellation date: 70% up to 60 days before, 50% up to 30 days, 25% up to 14 days, 10% up to 7 days, no refund under 7 days. Cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. Details in the terms & conditions.
- What are the check-in and check-out times?
- Check-in between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Check-out before 11:00 am. Arrivals take place in the presence of the owner, at a time arranged in advance.
- How many guests can stay?
- The chalet sleeps up to 10 guests. 4 bedrooms, 6 beds, 2 bathrooms. A travel cot is available on request when booking.
- Is there parking on site?
- Yes, free on-site parking for 3 to 4 cars, with an electric-vehicle charging point.
- Are pets allowed?
- Yes, pets are allowed. Please mention it in your booking request.
- What safety equipment is provided?
- The chalet is fitted with a carbon-monoxide detector and a smoke detector.
- How does access to the property work?
- You'll have private access to the chalet and its grounds. Access is via a dirt track of about 500 m, cleared of snow in winter. The two-room apartment and the garden-level garages are reserved for the owners.
